Invictus Strategies is a new fundraising consulting firm that exists to help conservatives take the philanthropic lead in America. The Left outraises the Right each year by $20 billion to $4 billion. Invictus has a vision to change that. We’re building a winning coalition of conservative nonprofits (including pro-life ones!), optimizing their fundraising programs, and connecting these clients to results-oriented investors around the nation.
As one of our initial hires, Invictus is seeking a Project Coordinator with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The exact job title will be commensurate with a candidate’s experience. The Project Coordinator will keep clients on track with fundraising plans, create donor backgrounders, facilitate the submission of proposals and reports, and otherwise pitch in to help Invictus thrive as a start-up. Job Description
– As the Project Coordinator (exact job title will be commensurate with experience), you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute logistical projects that help Invictus staff advance relationships with clients and philanthropists
– The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial go-getter who is eager to contribute in many ways to the growth of the start-up
– DC-based candidate preferred; remote work possible for exceptional candidates
Responsibilities
– Using donor wealth screening tools, create accurate backgrounders that outline donors’ giving history, philanthropic interests, and relationship with Invictus
– Ensure that the Invictus leadership team is equipped with insightful briefing materials before meetings with clients and philanthropists
– Maintain data hygiene by inputting call reports, moves management plans, and income into a CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
– Collaborate with donor communications staff to submit proposals and reports, including keeping organized information about portal logins and submission dates
– Compile client stories and statistics that demonstrate impact for use in future publications
– Provide exceptional customer service for requests from Invictus clients
– Manage logistics to host in-person and virtual meetings with clients and coalition partners
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree
– 3+ years of experience
– Commitment to a conservative worldview and knowledge of the conservative movement
– High standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
– An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to pitch in on a wide variety of projects in order to help Invictus thrive as a start-up
