The Communications Specialist plays a vital role in building awareness, engaging supporters, and promoting the life-affirming mission of Women’s Help Center. A commitment and dedication to the pro-life position held by Women’s Help Center is essential. Thia team member helps plan, implement, and analyze public relations strategies that promote Women’s Help Center, which includes but is not limited to developing social media content for clients and donors, drafting articles for the newsletter and other materials, creating promotional materials for clients and donors, managing a monthly online newsletter, and assisting with special events. The ideal candidate will possess:
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~Ability to work independently on multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
~Maintain proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making skills
~Must be detail-oriented and can multitask
~Knowledge and competence working with computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva or other desktop publishing software
~Develop, implement, and manage corporate social media strategies and content
~Measure and report on the success of social media campaigns
~Create content that encourages and increases engagement
~Familiarity with web design, web development, CRO, SEO and publishing a plus
