About the Ministry

Unplanned Stories is a pro-life ministry that offers hope, encouragement and practical support to parents facing an unplanned pregnancy. We publish pro-life stories to reach expectant parents online and run fundraising campaigns to support them as they navigate their unplanned pregnancy. We also bring our mission to life through our initiative called Letters of Hope.

Social Media Coordinator

We’re looking for a creative, organized and mission-minded communications professional to help grow our online presence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about pro-life advocacy, digital storytelling and social media strategy who wants hands-on ministry and marketing experience.

This volunteer position is remote and open to anyone living in the U.S. Current college students and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

The expected time commitment is 5-10 hours per week. Since this is a pro-life ministry, we require volunteers to be Christians.

What We’re Looking For

Christian.
Background in nonprofit work or pro-life advocacy.
Experience with social media management and marketing.
Ability to create compelling, engaging and brand-aligned captions and content.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with our team to develop a content calendar in Asana for our Instagram and TikTok platforms.
Create content that matches our ministry’s core pillars.
Testimonies
Hope, encouragement and practical support
Fundraising campaigns and impact
Write engaging captions that align with our mission and voice.
Help plan and execute a strategy to boost our engagement and increase our followers.
Engage with followers through comments and messages.
Track and generate a report on our monthly social media metrics.
