Description:
The Client Advocate works closely with Women’s Help Center clients, performing pregnancy tests, counseling them on life-affirming options, scheduling ultrasounds with our sonographers, and maintaining relationships with clients, as needed. The client Advocate also assists the Center Manager and Executive Director as needed.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform intake counseling and options consultations with clients
• Encourage clients to express their feelings about their pregnancy and life circumstances to help them develop insight into themselves, their situation, and their relationships
• Provide life-affirming options support via phone calls and text messages
• Maintain confidentiality of client records
• Chart client interactions, progress, participation, and referrals appropriately in multiple software systems
• Evaluate client needs during appointments and create a client care plan to connect clients to appropriate resources, when needed
• Provide routine follow-up care for clients and track client progress
• Assist in the scheduling of clients seeking pregnancy services
• Seek out and participate in ongoing training, education, and development for this position
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings
• Participate in organization events
• Attend community meetings or events as required
• Other duties assigned by management
