Status: Paid - Intern
The Mid-Atlantic Field Team intern assists the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator with
maintaining and improving SFLA groups in the region, especially in the greater Pittsburgh area.
The intern would assist with special projects, attending events on campus or in the community,
and maintaining communication with groups. The intern may also be asked to assist with
occasional administrative tasks such as mailings and data-entry.

Essential Functions for the Field Team Intern
• Provide trainings to students and community members
• Table and host displays on campus
• Take part in the Abortion Free City Campaign
• Door knocking and other GOTV efforts
• Attend local mobilization opportunities and community events
• Collect contacts
• Research for special projects and legislation
• Assist in meeting regional metrics
• Data entry
• Church Outreach
• Fundraising activities and community networking
• Assist with administrative tasks
• Participate in weekly calls and daily group chats to report progress
• Keep accurate records of metrics, group activity and leadership contact
information in Salesforce
• Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and online search
engines. Must be teachable to learn SFLA investor database. Candidates must be gritty, self motivated, a good problem solver, have an entrepreneurial spirit, expert multi-tasker,

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates out of the intern’s own home or personal office. Ideally, the one holding this
position would utilize his/her own laptop.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some traveling is required. The intern must be able to
drive and/or have access to transportation to get to trainings and mobilizations.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is an action-based position working a maximum of 15 hours per week. Additional stipends
shall be provided for certain metrics such as closed groups, trainings, and visits, as approved by
the Regional Manager. Hours are flexible, but it is encouraged to work as many as possible
during the team’s core hours 8AM-5PM. Workday flow/schedule should be reported to the
director manager of this position.
Attend trainings and mobilization events, as they arise and as it is possible within the allotted
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma.
At least 1-2 years of experience with Students for Life.
Must be able to successfully complete an I-9. The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and
employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.
