The Daily Caller is seeking a writer that has an interesting perspective, but is open-minded enough to appreciate other perspectives. The candidate should be a good writer and fast learner. The best candidates will have a proven track record of writing analysis pieces that are thoughtful, detailed, balanced and most importantly, different from all the other analysis you read on the internet.
The role requires someone who can work in a deadline-heavy news environment by collaborating with editors on story ideas and turning well-thought-out articles around in a timely fashion.
Familiarity with the current political landscape is a plus, as is a good eye for what will spark interest on social media.
On location (DC) is required.
