This part-time unpaid internship is designed for college juniors and seniors pursuing marketing, writing, publishing, or communications careers. This project-based student internship focuses on developing two county-wide resource guides for print and distribution. Additional projects may be added upon the intern’s request. At the end of the semester, you will have two printed resource guides to include in your portfolio and experience with design platforms, project management, and the print process.
Reports to: Community Outreach Director
Job Type: Part-time internship
Location: Keizer office; remote possible
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
3–5 hours per week as needed to complete the projects
Work with supervisor to create a project calendar with internal deadlines
Organize resource layout for print
Design resources guides to align with ORTL branding
Proof resources guides before they go to print
Communicate regularly with your supervisor about project progress

Experience Needed: Skills/experience needed: Strong command of the English language, high level of attention to detail, practical and/or academic experience with design platforms, and demonstrated research skills. Technical communications experience is preferred but not required.
