Description:
The communications director will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications strategy that promotes the mission and expands the reach of Idaho Family Policy Center. Day-to-day, the communications director will foster and nurture relationships with media contacts, assist with content creation (including news articles, op-eds, email newsletters, marketing materials, and fundraising materials), develop messaging on policy research and priorities, and implement social media growth strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Previous education or experience in communications, marketing, public policy, or government affairs is preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively on IFPC’s key policy issues from a Christian perspective is essential to this role.
Idaho Family Policy Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry that advances the lordship of Christ in the public square through promoting God-honoring public policy, engaging the church on cultural issues, and training statesmen to advocate biblical values. As a member of the nationwide family policy council movement, IFPC operates as a state public policy partner of Focus on the Family, Family Policy Alliance, Family Research Council, and Alliance Defending Freedom.
