Status: Paid - Full Time
Description:
Provides options counseling to clients of Alternatives Pregnancy Center. Trains, supervises, evaluates, and encourages the in-office volunteers. Directs and oversees the services provided to clients. Monitors and oversees client record-keeping and statistics. Effectively promoting the organization through increased visibility among target audiences and community building to create client-focused outreach efforts. Part of a larger client services team.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in related field including Psychology or Social Work.
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
• Experience with vulnerable populations and/or crisis counseling
• Ability to speak Spanish
Skills and Attitude:
• Ability to lead and effectively implement Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s Mission and Vision.
• Well-versed understanding of current and emerging issues related to unintended pregnancy.
• An understanding and sensitivity to cultural awareness and services to a myriad of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Full-Time $23-$26 /hour
Experience Needed: • A Bachelor's Degree in related field including Psychology or Social Work. Preferred: • Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work • Experience with vulnerable populations and/or crisis counseling • Ability to speak Spanish
