Position Summary:
In conjunction with the Chief Advancement Officer, the Director of Ministry Partnerships will be responsible for helping the organization achieve annual revenue and relationship goals by focusing within key verticals. They will build a network of churches, parachurch ministries, educational institutions, (k12-college/universities). This individual will identify and nurture relationships and tell Choices’ story in a way that encourages key verticals to engage further with Choices.
The qualified individual must be able to subscribe to the following three philosophies:
Philosophy #1: Be sensitive to God first and foremost.
Philosophy #2: In cultivating relationships, it is about them, not our organization!
Philosophy #3: Relationship is through me, but it is with the mission of Choices. Even when I’m gone, they will continue giving.
Requirements:
Associates or undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Must be a great listener, highly observant, and an excellent communicator.
Strong sales or entrepreneurial background, selling high-level products or concepts with extended sales cycles (6-18 months) is a plus.
Self-starter, who is strongly motivated by goals yet has the emotional intelligence necessary to be patient and sensitive while building strong relationships.
Key Job Duties/Tasks/ Assignments:
Grow church engagement through various initiatives such as Choices prayer focus, volunteer recruitment, and ministry partnership.
Critical connections point to the building a relationship “bridge” from the Choices’ clients to the churches and ministries.
Look for the influencers and build a strategy to expand the conversation around Choices’ mission.
Identify, cultivate, establish, and build relationships and trust within key verticals, individuals within influential positions.
