Description:

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Development Systems Manager manages and supports the donor database systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure that power donor development at Life Advancement Group. This role is responsible for supporting donor workflows, relationship organization, data accuracy, and day-to-day development operations so that fundraising and relationship-building efforts are executed consistently and effectively.
This position requires a highly organized, dependable, and proactive individual who can manage details, anticipate needs, and execute delegated tasks efficiently. The Donor Database Manager serves as a key support role that helps ensure donor care systems, development workflows, and fundraising strategies do not break or fall through the cracks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of database management and administration.
  • Be comfortable learning and using technology platforms including donor CRM systems, project management tools, website editors (Wix), and design/email tools such as Canva.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, track details, and maintain organized systems.
  • Be a quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities and systems.
  • Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Systems, Data & Digital Support

  • Support donor email and text workflows by ensuring proper segmentation, tagging, and follow-up tracking so no donor communication or action is missed
  • Maintain and manage donor data integrity within the donor CRM, including workflows, pipelines, task automation, and accurate documentation of all donor interactions
  • Assist with updates to the website using Wix.
  • Support email builder formatting and basic graphic design needs using CRM and Canva.

Development & Administrative Support

  • Report directly to the Development Director, providing day-to-day administrative and operational assistance.
  • Assist with task management, prioritization, and follow-up using Monday.com.
  • Support weekly planning to ensure development-related tasks and deadlines are met.

Donor Relationship & Follow-Up Support

  • Assist with organizing and tracking the Development Director’s Top 25 donor relationships.
  • Remotely coordinate thank-you letters, thank-you gifts, and other donor appreciation efforts.
  • Ensure donor follow-ups are timely, personal, and documented appropriately.

Gala & Event Support

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining gala-related information.
  • Support guest list organization, tracking, and basic event logistics.
  • Assist with updates to the gala website and related communications as needed.

General Support

  • Provide flexible administrative and operational support for development-related projects as needed.
  • Assist with small tasks that arise in support of donor development, events, and communications.

Experience Needed:   Minimum of 2 years experience of database management and administration.
