Southside Pregnancy Center offers a family support program called, Your Loving Legacy. We are hiring a Family Service Coordinator requires a bachelor’s degree in related human service/clinical field and one (1) year of case management or direct care experience. All positions require applicants who are at least 21 years of age or older and have a car and valid driver’s license for work use.
Responsibilities:
As the Family Service Coordinator, you are responsible for the coordination and case management of services between families and providers to ensure the appropriate level of placement, to include:
• Responsible for the coordination and case management of services between families and local nonprofit providers to ensure the appropriate level of assistance.
• Conducts intakes, interviews and assesses clients in preparation for referrals to partnering nonprofits.
• Coordinates and facilitates local nonprofits partnerships.
• Ensures appropriate service implementation and case coordination.
• Works with local nonprofits to ensure that client has an established safety-net.
• Manage in-person and online classes available to clients including BrightCourse online and keeping up with new lessons as they come out as well as viewing all lessons as the clients view them.
• Manage Volunteers who will teach life skill, Bible, and parenting classes.
• Collect and record class data accordingly in Ekyros database to use for monthly reporting.
• Monitor classes to ensure content taught is in alignment with our Christian mission and beliefs.
• Attend speaking engagements and presentations as requested.
• Plan client events i.e., back to school fall event, summer event, Christmas party, mom’s night out, etc.
• Research resources such as food pantries, free support for children and families, seasonal activities, etc. (sources of help includes researching local organizations on Facebook and sharing their resources.)
• Manage our Baby Boutique
