The Kristan Hawkins Brand Manager is responsible for the strategy, implementation & housekeeping of the growth tactics for the various Kristan Hawkins brand elements. This includes Kristan Hakwins social media platforms, the Explicitly Pro-Life Podcast, the campus speaking your & the Kristan Hawkins website. This person will bring awareness to the uniqueness of the Kristan Hawkins brand apart from Students for Life, while not fully detaching it from the organization & knowing when cross promotion between the brands is appropriate & strategic.

Essential Functions
Kristan Hawkins Social Media Platforms:
– Ideation of creative content for the KJH brand to pitch to vendors & collect talking points from collaborative team meetings to ensure they are relayed on Kristan’s social.
– Housekeeping efforts for social media platforms includes commenting, messaging, posting & engaging with other relative accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn.
– Providing monthly podcast analytics reports, identifying trends within the analytics & suggesting strategy based on the trends

Campus Speaking Tour:
– Coordinating & planning the speaking tour logistics with student groups; works closely with Regional Coordinators on this effort
– Works with the Marketing team to get promotion deliverables created & utilized throughout the tour & works with the Operations Team to confirm shipping deadlines are met
– Promoting the campus tour on social, overseeing post-event materials are created & shared with supporters & students through social media, email & text.

Explicitly Pro-Life:
– Create the vision for Explicitly Pro-Life episodes, dependent on Kristan’s personal travel & events schedule
– Work with Kristan’s Executive Assistant to schedule guests & coordinate with guests to ensure the appropriate tech needs are met for each episode
– Work with marketing team to solidify airing schedule for episodes & promotional clips
– Providing monthly podcast analytics reports, identifying trends within the analytics & suggesting strategy based on the trends
– Finding Ad sponsors for the podcast & getting the EPL podcast promoted on other pro-life / Christian / conservative podcasts with large followings

– Provide information to appropriate vendors to keep the website up to date with podcast content, speaking tour content
– Work with the strategic communications team to gather the best content for the media page & keep it updated on the site
– Suggest creative ideas for the site including ways to improve it or implement any changes to the overall brand that would help strategic growth

– Manage vendors for video projects for KJH brand & SFLA TV series

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for serving in the pro-life field are a must.
• Prior experience in event management and/or marketing administration is preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
The Kristan Hawkins Brand Manager will report to the SFLA Marketing Manager and collaborate heavily with multiple departments within Students for Life including the President’s team & the broader Reputation team, as well as outside vendors.

Students for Life of America is a 501c3 not-for-profit charity that engages in education and activism. We are made up of Americans of all ages, although the majority of our team is in our 20s and 30s. We run a fast-moving, grassroots organization that strives to innovate, unify, and lead. We believe the ending of abortion will happen when both supply and demand for abortion are erased. We believe that this is a multi-front fight as we must engage to change the culture but also to change politics. We do not believe there is a silver-bullet to ending abortion. Physical Demands
Must have the ability to operate technical equipment such as a computer and sit for extended periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried position working at least 45 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours can be somewhat flexible by request.

Will be required to travel for bi-annual team trainings & for special Kristan Hawkins related events such as the campus speaking tour.

Required Education and Experience
The full-time position requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, but a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience in event marketing & social media is preferred.

Work Authorization
Must be able to successfully complete an I-9. The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.
