Description:

Corbella Clinic’s mission is to protect and defend the sanctity of all human life, born and unborn, by providing abortion alternative services that educate and empower mothers to choose life. We envision a community that joyfully welcomes the gift of every unborn child.
Corbella nurses provide patient care performing medical services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STI testing, patient follow-up care and medical education / counseling. In addition to patient care, our full-time nurse provides leadership, supervision and guidance to the nursing staff, monitoring patient care and ensuring quality and consistency according to the clinic’s policies. Our nurse’s maintain frequent communication and coordination with the Medical Director, Executive Director and Director of Patient Resources.

Essential Qualifications:

2. Professional:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current Illinois licensure, or willingness to license in Illinois.
• Preferred experience in a non-profit or community-based organization, such as a pregnancy resource center or counseling, social service, or family service provider.
• Trained in Limited OB Ultrasound or open to training if needed. Corbella Clinic can provide ultrasound training if needed.
• Basic computer skills, organizational aptitude, high attention to procedure and detail.

3. Educational:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related knowledge and experience.

4. Personal:
• Able to empathize with those in distress and give practical assistance.
• Client focused and ability to engage confidently in a non-directive, non-judgmental manner with all client demographics and situations.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

5. Relational:
• Ability to work as a team member, seek consultation when needed, work independently and accept responsibility.

Base Pay: Salary
