This part-time job does not work well with another full-time job. This job entails walking alongside expectant moms who have made an adoption plan and are working with our agency. As the Birth Mother advocate, you will help with physical needs such as grocery shopping, helping her pay bills, and taking her to doctor’s appointments. You will provide emotional and spiritual support while advocating for her. You will be present at the hospital for delivery and advocating for her with hospital staff. You will also be able to help with the legal process of taking surrenders in the hospital. This job requires a solid understanding of how to walk alongside someone going through something emotionally difficult. Experience working with moms in crisis is a plus. Experience working in a pregnancy resource center is also a great plus!
Experience Needed: Reliable Transportation, Your own computer, able to communicate well, is organized and knows how to prioritize, has compassion for those who are in crisis.
