Description: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our social media outreach efforts to effectively communicate our mission and engage with our community. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, and advocacy work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation and scheduling of compelling content across our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) that promotes our mission, events, and campaigns.
Handle the backend production and distribution of Pro-Life Global’s podcast
Basic graphic design and photo/video editing
Engage with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner.
Monitor social media trends and suggest new ways to attract prospective supporters.
Help maintain a consistent voice across all platforms aligned with our organization’s mission and values.
Analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for new content and campaigns.
Assist in the coordination of live social media coverage during events.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations).
Strong understanding of and alignment with Pro-Life Global’s mission and values.
Proficient in the use of social media platforms and tools.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Canva.
Preferred: knowledge of Adobe Pro or another video editing software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
8 hrs/week minimum. The position can run for either a 3-month or 6-month period, starting immediately.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. However, academic credit can be arranged for students if allowed by their educational institution.
