Description:
We seek a sonographer who feels called to use her clinical skills to protect and celebrate life in a high-volume pregnancy care center. You will guide mothers through their first glimpses of their child, offer reassurance during vulnerable moments, and provide clear, compassionate information on the development of the mother’s preborn child. Additional responsibilities include:
1. Thoroughly explain all medical consent forms; ensure that client forms are complete and have necessary signatures; address client questions/concerns about the ultrasound procedure
2. Properly document client care and maintain client records
3. Upload all scans into the Client database by end of day for the WHC Medical Director to review
4. Ensure confidentiality of client information
5. Handle phone and in-person client inquiries as needed
6. Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of medical equipment and exam room(s)
7. Perform all duties within HIPAA guidelines at all times
8. Assist in all aspects of ministry functions (answering phones, filing, data entry, etc.), as requested
9. Occasional weekend work is required (2 Saturday mornings/month)
Experience Needed: 0-2 years minimum. Applicant must have an active registration and be in good standing in the state of Florida
