About the role:
We are looking for a Nurse/Sonographer to provide excellent medical services while maintaining professional standards of care, with the primary goal of impacting decisions for life. This role can be filled by either an RN or a RDMS; we will train the right individual for this position.
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Nursing, the Nurse/Sonographer is responsible for performing direct and indirect medical interventions, including the provision of limited ultrasounds. The Nurse/Sonographer facilitates caring relationships with clients and, as appropriate, will support pregnancy consultant’s efforts, including spiritual discussions. Works in conjunction with physicians and consultants to assure clients are receiving the best medical and psychosocial care possible. Positions are available in Glen Ellyn, Darien, and Elmhurst.
Job Description:
Performs limited ultrasounds while gathering and analyzing clinical data.
Maintains a warm, caring atmosphere for patients while focusing on the goal of impacting decisions for life.
Keeps accurate records on file and performs client follow-up care plan.
Provides education for clients to develop an understanding of their health condition and pregnancy options.
Aids consultants as they engage in significant conversations with clients
Office upkeep such as ordering supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, etc.
Assists with staff development such as oversight of medical team, recruiting and training, communication of procedural updates.
Other duties as assigned
Experience Needed: Current active credential as an RN or RDMS with good standing with the ARDMS or a licensed Registered Nurse by the state board of professional registration.
