Status: Unpaid – Intern

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and mission-driven Social Media Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support our social media outreach efforts, helping to communicate our mission and engage meaningfully with our community.

This internship offers valuable, hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, and advocacy, equipping you with practical skills while contributing to impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and “socializing” on our various social media platforms, especially on Facebook and YouTube.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative strategies to attract and engage prospective supporters.
  • Help maintain a consistent and authentic voice across all platforms, aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for content development and campaign initiatives.
  • Utilize social media and other communication channels to share messages of hope in Jesus, and participate in team prayer to encourage and support one another in faith.

Position Details:
Commitment of approximately 5–10 hours per week
Flexible term length of 3, 6, or 9 months

Start date: Immediate

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. However, academic credit can be arranged for students if allowed by their educational institution.
